WHO WE ARE
Shelly is a mom of one and a Speech-Language Pathologist who earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2020. She works closely with children and families using a child-led, collaborative, and family-centered approach.
Her work has shaped how she shows up as both a clinician and a parent. Shelly believes play is an important way children learn about the world and that communication can look different for every child. She values sensory regulation and believes in multimodal communication that helps children advocate for themselves and connect with others.
At the heart of her work is a deep commitment to creating inclusive spaces without judgment or expectations, where all children can connect and play together.

The Tumble Treehouse was created with one simple belief at its heart: all play is okay.
We know that every child experiences the world differently. Some children love big movements and high-energy play. Others seek quieter spaces, familiar routines, or time to observe before joining in. Many children move between these needs throughout the day. At The Tumble Treehouse, all of it is welcome.
We also believe that sensory regulation matters. When children feel regulated and comfortable in their bodies, play, learning, and connection come more naturally. Our space is designed to support this, with sensory-friendly choices, flexible play areas, and opportunities for both movement and rest. Children are free to follow their own rhythms, take breaks when needed, and engage in ways that feel right to them.
The Tumble Treehouse was co-founded by professionals who work closely with children and families and saw a need for play spaces that truly include everyone. We wanted to create a place centered on inclusion and support for families.
This is more than a play space. It is a place where regulation is respected, play is honored, and families can slow down and connect.
